Cora Taylor Casselman born Tara, Ontario, Canada October 18, 1888 (d. 1964). Politician; nurse in WWI. Member of Parliament, 1941-45; first woman Speaker of House of Commons, 1945. Only woman of Canadian delegation to the founding the UN, San Francisco, 1945. Adviser to ILO conference, 1944.
