Egyptian leader of Tahrir Square revolution 2011; arrested and maltreated; co-founded No Military Trials for Civilians 2011; cancer researcher; daughter of mathematician activist Laila Soueif; final nominee for Ennals Human Rights Defenders Prize 2013 lost because of anti-Israel tweets.
