Agnes von Zahn-Harnack born Giessen, Hessen, Germany June 18, 1884 (d. 1956). German writer, educator, historian, women’s rights leader. Postwar leader of Labor Program for Lasting Peace and Women’s Peace Circle, opposing nuclear weapons, 1947. Led national women’s organization opposition to anti-semitism, 1930.
